Exactly what I needed!

I built a new cabinet for my silverface Champ and tried a 12" Celestion Alnico Blue and liked it a bunch but decided I wanted something a little punchier, brighter, and lighter weight. The 4 ohm 10" Veteran is perfect in this little combo! Plenty loud enough but not so loud that I can't crank the amp to get the goods at a reasonable volume. Highly recommended!

Veteran 20 watt!

Simply put, WGS has the best sounding and best quality guitar speakers in the world. I’ve built many tube head / cab combinations and WGS have been the only speakers I’ve used since discovering them 10 years ago. For my most recent build, the 20 watt Veteran paired with 5 watt tube head sounds incredible and is perfect for small clubs, blues jams etc, Great “ Brown Sound” when cranked, and perfect warmth and clarity, but with an edge, when not. For sound, WGS gets down!

The rumors were true...

I must have tried so many different types of 10 inch speakers to put in my custom 22 watt blackface amp. Some were good - cleans and breakup and others only excelled in one. The 10" veterans excelled my expectations and would agree with what everyone says about them. Clear but round and full with no harsh frequencies when pushed hard. I like these even more because they are lightweight compared to what I had in there before. All in all, you can't go wrong here. They will only sound better as time goes on. I say, go for it!

Eternal 10”

Works great in my custom Bluesland Champ! Clear bass, not to harsh in the highs, which the little tweed has plenty of ! I chose the Veteran for that purpose and it’s working out nicely.

10" Veteran - 20 Watts

This is my 2nd WGS speaker. I put the 10 inch Veteran in a 5f2a Tweed Princeton style build and I couldn't be happier. Thanks WGS.
