12" ET65 - 65 Watts

Impedance

The ET65's creamy lows blend with tight midrange and sparkling highs for some of the best tones ever created. This speaker is for classic rock, country, and blues. Upgrade from your Celestion™ G12-65.

Possibly the best WGS speaker combination we can recommend is the ET65 paired with a Veteran 30™. Your cabinet will sound more full and colorful than you ever imagined. If you are putting together a 4x12 cab, we suggest either an "X" pattern or the ET65s on top of the Veteran 30's.

Just what I needed...

I installed the WGS 12" ETS 65 in an '86 Marshall 5010 Master Lead Mosfet Combo, which had the original Celestion G12M70 speaker. The difference was like night and day. It totally woke the amp up. It was like pulling a heavy packing blanket off of it. The tone/response across the whole tonal spectrum was dramatically improved. I haven't had a chance to really open it up/crank it yet, but I'm looking forward to doing so over the holidays. Excellent company to do business with, and shipping was very quick. I'll definitely be doing more business with them in the new year, as i have several other small, 50 watt or less, combos that I want to upgrade. Thanks WGS for your excellent products!!!🔊🔊🔊🔊🎼🎵🎶🤔😉🤘✌️

A healthy upgrade

I have a Crate tube amp (USA made) 32V model. I wasn't happy with the Celestion 70/80 speaker in it. It sounded a little tinny and fizzy. Upgraded to an ET65 and the amp instantly changed character. It was a night and day improvement. The low end is now thumping and the high end is singing in all the right ways. "Musical" is the only word I can think of to describe it. It's very musical. I knew this amp could do better, after all it was designed by Obeid Khan (Magnatone Fame). He's a world-class guitar amp engineer. My goal was to use the Crate 32V for rehearsals and use another amp for actual gigs. I'm rethinking that now. The ET-65 makes this amp sound so good that I would use it for any live gig. This isn't the only amp I've tried using with a WGS. I've used them in some other amps too. The result is the same. It's always BETTER. Sometimes a little better, usually a lot better. I'm sold, and will be buying again and again. Keep in mind also, as they break in over time, they only sound sweeter.

ET65 - 65 Watts of Great

I love this speaker. Replacing stock speaker in Blues Deluxe Reissue. Hold your nose and talk(stock), now take your hand off your nose and talk(ET65). My amp is no longer neutered. Thanks WGS, you did a great job!

Lew Jetton

Lew Jetton

Lew Jetton learned The Blues the old fashioned way, in the cotton fields of his native West Tennessee in the 60s and 70s. Along the way, he had two of the best mentors one could have: In the 80s, the legendary Carl Perkins, and in the 90s, the one and only Chicago Blues Legend, Snooky Pryor. Lew Jetton is indeed, the real deal.

Palestine Blues, the new album from Lew Jetton & 61 South is a personally poignant and sometimes brutal memoir of a 10 year period in Jetton's life which included struggles with alcohol, drugs, depression, joblessness, frustration and a spiritual tug of war. Recorded 3 piece for the most part with just Lew on guitar, with bass and drums, so the essence of the songs could show through. No posing. Just the raw feeling, so you really can feel the frustration, the helplessness, the anger, the sadness, that are a way of life for so many today.

Palestine Blues is the 4th CD from Lew Jetton & 61 South to garner rave reviews as well as worldwide radio airplay, including on BB King's Bluesville on Sirius/XM Radio. Palestine Blues follows on the heels of Lew Jetton & 61 South's 2016 release Rain, which spent more than 6 months of the Roots Music Report's Contemporary Blues Chart, finishing #36 in their year end list of all the Top 200 releases. Over the years, Lew Jetton & 61 South have cemented their reputation on the club and festival circuit with their signature, critically acclaimed, Mississippi River Electric Blues sound.

Man Overboard

Man Overboard

New Jersey-based emo-pop players Man Overboard carry the flame of melodic, energetic, hardcore-influenced Garden State bands like Lifetime and Midtown. Founded in 2008 by childhood friends Nik Bruzzese (vocals/bass) and Wayne Wildrick (guitar), the pair began writing at Bruzzese's studio, bringing Zac Eiestenstein (vocals/guitar) and Justin Mondschein (drums) into the fold to record debut EP Hung Up on Nothing. Signing to Run for Cover the following year, the band offered a second EP, Dahlia. In 2010, Man Overboard fired on all cylinders, releasing the acoustic EP Noise from Upstairs as well as studio album debut Real Talkand a self-released live recording. The band also faced lineup changes that year -- Wildrick left the band for personal reasons and Justin Collier filled in on guitar duty, making way for new drummer Mike Hrycenko -- but came back big by joining the Rise Records roster. By spring 2011, Wildrick rejoined the band, as they recorded a self-titled sophomore album and hit the road on the Pop Punk’s Not Dead tour alongside New Found Glory that fall. Adding to the momentum, Man Overboard, released that September, landed on the Billboard 200, Top Hard Rock Albums, and Top Independent Albums charts. Drummer Joe Talarico replaced Hrycenko for the group's third album, Heart Attack, which was released in 2013 also debuted as #46 on the Billboard 200 and #7 on the Independent Record label charts. The band has toured relentlessly, doing The Vans Warped Tour 2 years in a row, Russia, UK, Europe, Canada, and gearing up for a major US tour this Fall, along with Warped Australia, SouthEast Asia, Japan, and Hawaii.
