vox ac4c1 10 in speaker

I want to purchase an av4c1 bl tomorrow. I've a few compaints about the stock speaker, bit mo upgrades, modifying bright caps etc. whew ???? I read your reviews of one guy and putting in a green beret 12 inch speaker. also on VHT and another small vox people were going to try vet 10 and another the 10c. My thought and question : What do think of using the 10 c/s, to smooth out the brightness a bit ? I would also entertain putting the 12 green beret in a replacement cabinet if I could find one. Sounds like alot of work though. So best option I think is maybe stock cabinet with a 10 c/s. Would this work ?
