12" G12Q - 20 watts

I'm not sure yet. I put it in a Blackstar Series One 10AE, which is rated at 10 watts. I picked the speaker because I loved the tone in the sample on the website. I understand it's more of a 5E3 compliment, and an American voicing.

There was some rattling/buzz with chuggy palm mutes for like F and G power chords (not my style of music, just something I noticed). I haven't cranked it again to see if it persists.

It's definitely changing as it's broken in, so I'm going to withhold judgement. With 94db sensitivity it certainly tamed the ridiculous volume of the 10AE with a 70/80.

My parents live outside of Metropolis, IL and when I learned Warehouse was in Paducah I knew I'd be a lifelong customer. I'm not giving up on the G12Q yet, it sounds "good" but not sure if I'm in love. Time will tell.

As the sales description says, a speaker that maintains clarity while having that great sounding speaker breakup. This was what I was looking for and got. Thank you WGS!

Keeps the character of the 5E3 while taming some bass.
Gives the typical alnico choices a good run for the money !

Breaks up quite nice!

I have a Crate 1R from 1978 that just never sounded quite right to me. Your G12Q took the sharpness away. I sounds very good now clean, and with overdrive. With a good spring reverb on board, I didn't want to waste an amplifier.
This changed the game.
