15" G15C - 75 Watts

I've building more than a few guitar amps with a number of 15" speakers from '48 to now. this G15C is on my breaking up bench for a few weeks. and, it's getting better day by day.

This speaker frakin Badass! How does it sound with a high gain amp? Dont know, don't care. If you get your overdrive tone the old fashioned way by crankin the shit out of ur amp you will be blown away by this bad boy. Such a sweet top end. Do yourself a favor.

After hearing a friend's cab with WGS G15c and being very impressed, I gave it a try as I wanted a 1x15 guitar cab as a 'go to' for gigs and jams. This speaker is absolutely killer for my tonal needs--- I play blues, blues rock, jazz and rock and roll. I use it either with 22 watt Spitfire clone head or a 30 watt JTM 45 clone head and it handles and brings out the best in both of them. But the main thing is big, FAT lows that just resonate in a way that a 2x12 or even 4x12 don't (and I get this feedback from audiences regularly)--- yet at the same time completely articulate high end, with both humbuckers (Corsa Manalishi's) or single coils ( SD P90's). I've been playing several decades and this is simply one of the best speakers for guitar I have ever heard, bar none. Highly recommend!!
