I have a Crate 1R from 1978 that just never sounded quite right to me. Your G12Q took the sharpness away. I sounds very good now clean, and with overdrive. With a good spring reverb on board, I didn't want to waste an amplifier.
This changed the game.

Better than expected for price paid. Good value. Used 4ohm speaker in extension cabinet.

Exactly what I was looking for

I got this speaker to put in my Mills Custom Atlas(20 watt blackface style amp) instead of the 120watt speaker it came with. This this sings now. I run the amp at half power and it gets to that sweet spot right before breakup without tearing your head off and the frequency response is perfect. First time trying WGS speakers but I am thoroughly impressed.

My Fender Tone Master Deluxe Reverb Blonde is so alive now!

I always use the built-in attenuator on my DR Blonde Tone Master and never could get the amp to be lively. I tried several different speakers but none of them responded like this one. The reverb sounds richer and the edge of breakup is fantastic now. Made it sound like real tubes inside. Fender should put this speaker in it at the factory. It is that good.
