I’m looking for some new speakers and curious if you could possibly give me your best opinion. Below I will provide you with my gear, style of playing, artist I listen to and what I would like out of a speaker. Appreciate it much, thank you

Amp: PRS Archon 100 Watt
Cab: Avatar 4x12
Guitars: Fender Jaguar, Fender Jazzmaster, Fender Stratocaster, Fender Mustang, Reverend Charger 290, Reverend BC-1, Reverend HB and a couple more.

Pedals: I play with lots of pedals from delays, reverbs, phaser, fuzz, overdrive and more. So I need speakers that will be pedal friendly and not causing any clipping/breakup or distortion when using delay and reverb.

I like clean speakers that have little to no break with great clean headroom. I play a lot of ambient style music, clean style, folk sometimes and sometimes I play rock to metal as well.

Bands I listen to are The Smashing Pumpkins,Arcade Fire, Nine Inch Nails, Tool, Primus, Nirvana, Alice In Chains, Sarah Lipstate, Leonard Cohen, Radiohead, Rammstein, Neil Young and more.

My PRS Archon sounds fantastic and with amazing clean headroom which I love because I don’t really care for a whole lot of breakup on my clean channel but it also has a fantastic gain channel. It’s one amps to me with the best cleans and dirt/drive. But,,,,,,,,,,, the amp is a little dark or maybe a bit to dark. The 4x12 sold to the head from PRS was loaded with Celestion Vintage 30’s and I’m guessing to counteract that darkness of the amp.

So I was looking at (2) WGS Retro 30’s and (2) WGS ET90’s. Would you say this would be a good option? I considered the ET65’s but it looks like the ET90’s have more clean headroom. Would (4) ET90’s be to dark o no. Or is the Retro 30’s and ET90’s in an X pattern good? Or ET65 with Retro 30’s. Or if you have better options I’m all ears.

Thank you

Okay, if you REALLY want to fix that ... here is a fantastic paring:
2-Retro 30's and 2-G12C (NOT C/S) ... in x-pattern.
That's my best advice ... other than turning up the highs and turning the bottom down :-)
