This vintage looking 18W bugger has been sitting mostly unused since I bought it but now interested in making it usable. Stock speaker is a lousy - sounds like a flatulent cow. Since most forum threads on these have gone cold I’m interested in replacing the speaker. Stock is 50 watt and the circuit has a lot of built in gain I’d like to tame a bit. I want to keep a British voice. Any recommendations?

I'd absolutely recommend an ET65, should do EXACTLY what you are looking for :)
