bright, UK-voiced speaker recommendation

Howdy! I apologize in advance if this post is beating a dead horse; it's just that the interwebz is too vast, and there isn't much info about my particular amp--not to mention, there are so many WGS speakers to choose from.

I have a Blackstar Studio 10, which is a 10-watt, 1x12 combo powered by one EL34 tube. I recently replaced the stock Celestion 7080 speaker with a WGS Veteran 30. And while the Vet is muuuch better than the 7080, the tone sounds darker to my ears.

I bought the Vet because I plan on acquiring an Orange OR15 head in the future and wanted a Celestion V30-style speaker, since that is what comes stock in the Orange PPC 112 cab.

I primarily play a Tele in an apartment through an attenuator (perhaps that's the main reason why the amp sounds dark--I dabbled with an EQ pedal, but I don't like it). I play hard rock and punk with my dirty tone, and my ideal clean is a punchy, funk tone. Now, I can get those tones with the Vet just fine; however, I'd like to know if there is another UK-voiced speaker that could get me closer to achieving the sound in my head.

I've narrowed down the choices:

• Reaper
• Reaper HP
• Retro 30
• Invader

Which of these could you recommend for my setup and style of playing? Or might there be a completely different speaker more suitable for me?

Thank you in advance for your guidance. I look forward to your response. Cheers.

First off, I apologize for the late reply!
Okay ...
So, if the Vet 30 was almost but not quite there ... then for sure the Retro 30 is a perfect choice, as it does have a noticeable top-end extension over the Vet30!
If you want more of a focused upper-midrange tone, then the Invader is certainly it.
