I have a 4x10 cabinet which I use with a (rather clean sounding) Fenderish 30W head playing mostly blues and Stones/Faces kind of rock. Now I want to use the cab playing much louder rock with a 100W Peavey Valveking head. Do you think the speakers can handle the amp and what kind of sound can I expect?
4x10 cab with Veteran 10, power handling and sound?

Okay, no, the Vet's would be right at their breaking point. I'd say you want to go with a quad of G10C speakers. Make two of them Green Berets if you want to bring in a good bit of British flavor to "playing mostly blues and Stones/Faces kind of rock" :-)
