Fantastic Speaker

Replaced a V30 in a Mesa Express 5:25+ with the Reaper….1000% better. The V30’s are muddy in an open back cab and don’t give the bottom end response and tighter mids as a closed back configuration….Reaper cured the issue! Great customer service and advice from WGS too!!!

Reaper HP sounds great!

I have an old Marshall cabinet that had the Marshall brand celestions. I pulled 3 of those and put 2 vintage 30's in and this WGS Reaper HP. The combination is brutally amazing. I'm considering adding a second reaper in an x pattern with the v 30's. It's just so heavy and the chuggs are full, sharp, and percussive. Can't say enough good about it! Thanks for a great speaker. I'll be getting more in the future.

I love this speaker!

Why do I love it? Because it has its own voicing. If you are playing Metal and you are looking to create your own tone. This speaker is a great place to start. I’m using it with an SM 57 right at the edge of the dust cover angled open towards the center of the speaker and it sounds great.

DYONYSYS LYWYLLYN
Review of DYONYSYS LYWYLLYN on 12" Reaper HP - 50 watts

The perfect speaker. Extreme metal and thrash guitar stylist. Crave rings of saturn and necrophagist or suffocation rage? These are the answer. Sound graphed and spectral analyzed these blew away celestion V30, eminence dv77, and hesu daemon. The entire gamut and range is highly detailed the bass needs zero roll off and never gets woofy or wooly over the other frequencies. The midrange is all present wide and detailed. The leads pop out and sing and are present without boost. Aggressive sounding speaker without being harsh. Very balanced throughout. Tight chunky and thick raunchy detailed mix ready. Rolling off the highs aren't really necessary either as they are smooth and thick enough although extended somewhat. Brilliant design of genius engineering and combination. Cleans are a cut above all the speakers tested including a really medieval sounding eminence black powder.

Review of Griffth Simcox on 12" Reaper HP - 50 watts

This is a great upgrade speaker for that tired sounding 1x12 combo I am currently running one in my carvin V3M and that beast sounds amazing. louder and fuller than the stock speaker. Almost sounds like a 2x12
easily covers anything from those chimey cleans to modern metal (the V3 has a bunch of different voicings and it handles them all)
