The G8C ceramic speaker will breathe new life into your small combo. Boasting a fair amount of low end for an 8" speaker and balanced mids, this little monster puts out some serious sound. We personally love it with the Fender Champ. If you are looking for vintage tone with increased headroom and output in a small package, the G8C is your speaker.

    Joe is a whiny b*tch

This is a review for Joe's b*tch ass. Nobody gives a sh*t how you want to be addressed. Nobody gives a damn what your name is snowflake. Go sit your crying ass down Jose and stop being such a huge vagina. Great speaker BTW.

Incredible improvement over competitor's $$ alnico in SF Champ

1979 Champ: I bought this speaker to replace a competitor's alnico speaker as sort of a hail-Mary to see if there would be any appreciable difference. The competitor's alnico speaker lacked definition, and got horribly flabby - unusably so - with the amp wide-open.

The first thing I noticed with the new G8C installed was how the tone and clarity cleaned up throughout the entire range. Bass response is tight and full, with no discernable mud or undesirable frequencies sneaking in. Highs are clear and have a nice sparkle without harshness. Wide-open, however, is where this speaker really shined in this amp. N-I-C-E breakup without a hint of flabbiness or f*rting-out..

The guitar I used for testing, was a 1996 Am Std Strat w/stock pickups.

I could go on, but you get the point. This is a great little speaker. Money well spent, for sure.

My name, BTW, is Bob, but I promise not to blow a gasket if your software manages to change it to Roberto.... :)

    Thanks.

    Great Speaker

I put the 8" G8C - 20 Watts in my 76 Fender Champ.. Absolutely amazing. The perfect match for this amp... I love it.. I would highly recommend it to anyone needing an excellent replacement speaker for a Champ or any other amp..

    It's okay

Didn't really work with my amp. Might have been better had I broke it in but just felt too bassy and stale compared to stock speaker.
