Building on the popularity of our G12C, we developed the G12Q for those times when you want the speaker to add some natural, vintage breakup but maintain clarity. With a 20 oz magnet and a 1" voice-coil, the G12Q definitely has a vintage American flavor. We highly recommend it with 5E3 style circuits.
My Fender Tone Master Deluxe Reverb Blonde is so alive now!
I always use the built-in attenuator on my DR Blonde Tone Master and never could get the amp to be lively. I tried several different speakers but none of them responded like this one. The reverb sounds richer and the edge of breakup is fantastic now. Made it sound like real tubes inside. Fender should put this speaker in it at the factory. It is that good.
Rockola Starlet juke box.
I installed these 12 inch 20 watt speakers in my Rockola Starlet juke box. The original speakers were torn and worn. These speakers are working great.
I am thinking about ordering another pair of 16ohm for the remote tap on my tube amp. And mounting in boxes.
I am very happy with these Warehouse Speakers although my Juke box friends are giving me a hard time for not coneing the originals. I will save those in the Warehouse Speaker boxes for the next person.
Thank you Mark Guerin
12" G12Q - 20 watts
I replaced the stock speaker in an old silvertone 1482 with the G12Q.
I very definite improvement.
Review of Jesse Gonzales on 12" G12Q - 20 watts
Great budget friendly upgrade! I swapped this into my Monoprice 15w which comes with a C 70/80. The amp has a reputation for too much low end and being pretty muddy. To me it sounded muffled especially with p90s and I wanted to put an American voiced speaker for a sound with more sparkle. This speaker sounds great in it and I can use the p90s! I think it being lower wattage to match the 15w amp helps a lot. It really brings it to life and more responsive, the EQ has more control without having to go extreme, there is an actual difference when using attenuator, and spring reverb sounds better. For a budget, low wattage American voiced speaker I think this is great.
