The G8C ceramic speaker will breathe new life into your small combo. Boasting a fair amount of low end for an 8" speaker and balanced mids, this little monster puts out some serious sound. We personally love it with the Fender Champ. If you are looking for vintage tone with increased headroom and output in a small package, the G8C is your speaker.

Great speaker in a small package

The G8C was an excellent upgrade to my Champ 5 watt amp. Improved bass response and a clean and musical upper frequency response. Sweet!

    Great 8” speaker.

Purchased the G8C for a nearly 20 year old Fender Frontman 15 I rediscovered and had forgotten about, as it was stored up in my attic. On a whim, once I made sure it still worked, I thought a new speaker would be just what this little amp needed. The G8C made the amp a fun little practice amp and sounds better than I ever thought possible.

    Love these 8” WGS speakers

I have the G8C and G8A combo in 2 different 2X8 combo cabs. They are a great mix.

One combo is a 10 watt tube amp that leans British

One combo is a quilter microblock 45 turned into a combo.

    Both are fantastic matches.

Don’t know if you have ever run the math, but a 2x8 is 89% of the cone area of a 1x12 and 128% of a 1x10. You don’t miss any of the low end of the 12 and get the immediate response of a 10. Plus you get the advantage of the added harmonic and attack/decay envelope complexity of mixed speakers.

My only wish is that WGS made a similar ceramic and alnico in British voices to allow for more mixing and matching.

I strongly suggest you try a 2x8 sometime. It is now my favorite cab type. Light, complex, full, and loud.

    Great speaker!

I have a Bugera V5, an older one that isn’t an Infinium. I was never happy with the old speaker so I did some research and heard good reviews on the G8C speaker from Warehouse. Wow, what a difference! The G8C really opened the amp up, and seemed to have more presence than before. I play it now a lot more, it’s been a huge improvement, like I have a new amp. I’m thinking about upgrading the speaker in my Fender Tonemaster Deluxe Reverb, the black tolex one, with a G12C.

    Great speakers

I upgraded my Bugera V5 with two 8" G8C's (one installed in the combo amp and one wired in parallel in a separate cabinet that I built for this purpose) and I love it. It seems bigger, fuller and louder to me now, and I'm really happy with the tube sound I'm getting out of this little amp with these speakers.
