Looking to build 2 bass cabs, one 15" which I'll put the BG15C in, and I'd like to build a matching 2x10", but not sure if you guys have good 10"ers to load the cab with.
None of WGS's 10's are suitable bass speakers. (no offense guys) I have nothing but respect for their guitar stuff. A friend of mine uses them in many of the the amps he manufactures. However the difference between a guitar driver and a bass driver is huge. Cabinet design for guitar is not nearly as critical either. To get a bass cab to perform well it has to be built to work with the speaker you are using. I would suggest you do a bit of research before you just slap a 15" in a box that looks like it's the right size.
As far as the BG15C I will reserve any opinion on it until they publish full specs and a freq. plot (no spec for x-max? really? that's like the most important number when choosing a bass driver)
Hummm ... the BG10 is THE cast-frame bass 10!! But... it seems to be gone from inventory (??) Why don't you give a call to the WGS office & ask about it ... maybe they can rush a couple into production for you :-)
