1957 Historic-Hot White-Guard Telecaster® set

1957 Historic-Hot White-Guard Telecaster® set

Historic Aging

The ultimate Bakersfield white-guard Tele tone! By 1957 Fender had completely shifted to stronger, brighter AlNiCo V magnets and slightly lower wind counts. 1957 was a bit of an anomaly, as some Telecaster pickups were wound a little hotter that year. There is only speculation as to exactly why it happened, but no one disputes the results: pure magic! Re-live 1957; re-live that magic. The bridge pickup has all the Tele spank & twang true Tele players demand and the covered neck pickup retains the organic full tone of a vintage Tele; but both positions speak with an extra helping of authoritative muscle. Looking for the Bakersfield tone with a little extra something? You've found it. From the classic tones of Merle, Buck, Don and Roy to their contemporaries Brad Paisley and Keith Urban ... if you like your Tele Tone straight-up, you will LOVE these pickups.
